You choose how many days for guided birding or birding on your own.  We arrange the guides or transportation depending on your choice. 

Your cabin is fully set up for self catering.  We can help you buy supplies on the way to the cabin.  Alternatively, some good economical restaurants are a short ride away..  

The cabin is located at 1,500 meters in the Cloud Forest of Northwest Ecuador.  More specifically, the cabin is just below the Alambi Hummingbird Garden and next to the Alambi River.  There is great birding all around with easy day trips to higher or lower elevations to maximize chances for different species. 

The cabin is part of Cloud Coffees tourism and coffee processing site.  You can drink some great coffee and learn about how coffee is grown and processed.

If you want a break from birding, it is easy to arrange trips to pre-Incan ruins in Tulipe or to Mindo for the butterfly farm, a chocolate tour, tubing, or other activities. 

If you have more time we can arrange an extension to Baños on the Eastern Slope of the Andes for more birds and diverse tourist activities.
