The  Coffee Cabin is located at the Cloud Coffees production/tourism facility on Alambi Reserve in the Cloud Forest of Northwest Ecuador.  The  Coffee Cabin is located as part of a small complex that includes a  coffee processing facility that is in use during the summer months, a coffee plant nursery that is active year round, a coffee cafe where tourists can sample and buy coffee, and worker house where our full-time  employee and family live.  The Coffee Cabin has a lovely view out over the Alambi River.  The location is about 200 yards away from the main road to Quito. About 50 meters above the Coffee Cabin is the Alambi Hummingbird  garden where at least 10 species of Hummingbirds are present  every day.  The birding around the cabin is great with Hummingbirds,  many species of Tanager, and regular visits from Quetzels

The  construction of the Coffee Cabin was completed in 2018.  All the furnishings and bedding are new.  You will have access of up to 2 bedrooms depending on the number of guests.   The kitchen is fully equipped for self catering.  It is best to pick up supplies in Quito before arrival, although most basic supplies can be found in Nanegalito, which is about 5 kilometers from the cabin.  

There is a trout restaurant on the adjacent property that is open on  weekends.  In addition, other restaurants are available in Nanegalito.
